Help!
If refreshing the page didn't help and you're sure your Internet bandwidth is fine,
here are some things you can check:
- Camera/mic: if you're using an external camera, is it connected and powered on?
- Browser: we've tested many combinations of browser and OS, but maybe yours isn't in the list.
Chrome/macOS, Chrome/Windows, Firefox/macOS, Firefox/Windows, Safari should be fine. Mobile Safari
and Android also work (although there is no screen sharing on those platforms), but Lobelia Connect
is likely more useful on desktop.
- Permissions: when you enter a room, we'll ask you for permission to access the camera and microphone.
Maybe you didn't grant those permissions? Depending on your OS and browser, you may be asked again
if you refresh the page.
- Proxies/firewalls: ugh, those are nasty. We do what we can for NAT traversal, proxies, etc. but we
really can't circumvent your company's rules if they mistrust RTP/UDP streams.
